I was thinking after I posted that this was probably true—it feels like I’m on Cortland all the time, but my personal driving patterns never bring me there at rush hour. May get worse too with Armitage (east of Racine) being resurfaced soon. My best east to west hack at rush hour is taking Altgeld as much of the way as possible (as an alternative to Fullerton, Wrightwood, or Diversey) but not sure it saves much time overall as it can get backed up where it intersects with Ashland and you end up -

This might work at sports camps in college dorms, which in general aren't strict about the electronics. Most camps are in tents with wooden floors and no outlets. Not sure how this would work. A lot of parents are too nervous to send their kids to camp because of this. If you are one of them, you don't have to send your kid. The thing I like most about camp is that they are totally unplugged.
