The law firm of Matt Cohen and Associates is a small civil rights practice concentrating on special education and school-related issues, the legal problems of mental health and human services providers, and the needs of children and adults with mental, developmental and physical disabilities.

Our services are provided through advocacy, informed and thoughtful consultation, and representation in litigation and legislative and policy efforts. Many of our staff have personal experience in dealing with the challenges of people with disabilities through their own personal and family experiences. All of the staff bring a passion for justice and social change to their efforts, empathy for the challenges that our clients encounter, and a commitment to excellence in the services we provide.
